Designed for classical guitar players seeking a quality amplified sound, the Yamaha NX Series NTX1 is an acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar styled in a natural finish. The single-cutaway body offers a solid Sitka spruce top, while the back and sides are made either of Nato or Okoume. Its 25.6" scale Nato neck offers a 19-fret walnut fingerboard and a 600 mm radius, which is comfortable for players just getting used to nylon-stringed guitars. The bridge is fashioned out of ebony and walnut.
For electronics, the instrument offers an undersaddle pickup and a 3-band EQ preamp with an onboard tuner. You'll find controls over the EQ as well as volume. The saddle and nut are constructed out of urea, and the soundhole features a mahogany and padauk inlay. A hex wrench and two AA batteries are included.
